New to First Lutheran?
We’re excited that you have taken the time to explore what First Lutheran Church is all about. We hope we can introduce you to this welcoming body of Christ where there is room for all. We are welcoming, growing and serving!
What can I expect from Worship?
Depending on the worship style you connect with most, you can find both blended and contemporary worship at First Lutheran. First enjoys a relaxed community setting, with many informal, welcoming and fun parts of worship. Wednesday evening worship from 6-6:30 is relaxed and casual with a reflection and a few hymns, while weekend services include a 5:30 pm Saturday evening casual service, and an 8 am Sunday service which is more blended with Bell Choir and Senior Choir adding to the worship experience. The 10:30 am Sunday service is more contemporary with Middle School, High School and Adult Contemporary music groups offering praise music. There is always an uplifting message of hope offered by one of the pastors and texting prayers is always welcome along with the open invitation to take communion whenever we gather as a community of believers. You may also use the nursery for infants and toddlers during services every Sunday, large print bulletins for the vision impaired and hearing devices for the hearing impaired are available.
What’s at First Lutheran for my family?

Frist welcomes all ages to be involved and engaged and form great relationships. You’ll find new people to get to know and forge lasting friendships through the family events offered at First. First also offers regular hours for the Youth Room after school during the work week. The Youth Room is a great place to hang out, relax, make new friends and forge lasting relationships all in a safe environment with supervision.
How do I meet people?
Join others for Coffee Fellowship between services on Sunday and discover information about classes, fellowship events, small groups, study groups, youth activities and other great ways to meet people. First Lutheran small groups and ministries are hosting coffee fellowship on different weekends to allow you to ask questions about the various organizations and work we accomplish together. Coffee Fellowship is available before and between worship services. Come early, stay late. We’d love to get to know everyone over coffee and juice.
First Lutheran offers The Gathering Table, which allows new and current members to get to know other members in a small, intimate setting where you can really get to know each other over a nice meal, either at a restaurant or in someone’s home. It’s your choice how often to be involved.
How do I grow?
