Our Vision

First Evangelical Lutheran Church will be a welcoming, discipling, and serving congregation as a spiritual center to enrich the well-being of the Beaver Dam community and beyond.

As a congregation of disciples we need to know what we value and those values become the benchmark to which we hold one another accountable. A statement of values becomes a guide to the development of positive and healthy attitudes and behaviors. They help us commit to a common way to live together.

We value the Great commandment: You shall love the lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength, and you shall love your neighbor as yourself. We value being there for each other, serving, caring, and supporting
  3. We value an enthusiasm for life long learning for all disciples.
  4. We value people of all ages
  5. We value mission out reach to others in the name of Jesus meeting physical and spiritual needs
  6. We value our traditions while being open to where God in Christ Jesus through the Spirit is leading us.
