Sunday School

Our Sunday School program is open to everyone.  We offer classes for children age 2 – high school and also adults.  All classes are offered at 9:15am.  Our 2017 - 2018 Sunday School year begins with Rally Day on September 10th at 9:15am, along with games and a church picnic to follow! If your child will be attending we ask that you pick up a new registration form to complete and turn into the Sunday School. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call!

Youth & Family Ministry

Youth are the church of the past, present, and future.  First Lutheran has many opportunities for learning, growing in faith, having fun, and bonding with friends.  With Milestone Ministry, your children celebrate special moments along their faith journey – starting with baptism. In addition to Sunday School, your children and family can continue to grow their faith by participating in:

If you are looking to have a child or adult baptized into the membership of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, please call the Church Office at 920-885-4497. A meeting with one of our pastors is required prior to baptism.

First Lutheran is collecting 2018 calendars for Friendship International's cargo shipment to Liberia. If you have a calendar to spare, drop it on by the church office....we'd be glad to donate it to the group for you!

Lutheran World Relief of First Lutheran is in the midst of it's late summer round-up of school supplies for those in need in other countries. Needed:

8 1/2 by 11 spiral notebooks;  blunt scissors, rulers, pencil sharpeners, unsharpened pencils with erasers, black or blue ballp9oint pens (not gel pens);  2 1/2 inch erasers;  boxes of 16 or 24-count crayons. Donated items can be placed in the LWR containers in Friendship Hall.

First Lutheran recently said farewell to our pastoral intern and his wife, Tim and Mary Kay Knipfer. Tim was our Vicar this past year. He is now returning to Wartburg to complete his final year at seminary. We will miss them both very much! Below are a few pictures from our farewell program for Tim and Mary Kay:

Some of our members recently took a trip to Germany for a Reformation tour. This is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, so this is a special time to visit the places where Luther walked! Here are a few photos from their trip:

Some of our kids, along with Dusty, Heather and Vicar Tim, recently attended "Glow in the Dark" bowling here in Beaver Dam.
