Sunday School

Our Sunday School program is open to everyone.  We offer classes for children age 2 – high school and also adults.  All classes are offered at 9:15am.  Our 2017 - 2018 Sunday School year begins with Rally Day on September 10th at 9:15am, along with games and a church picnic to follow! If your child has attended Sunday School in the past here at First, no registration is needed. If your child is new to the program, please contact the Church Office for a registration form or you can pick one up in Friendship Hall at church.

**Our staff and youth workers are required to take a class in Parish Protection when working with youth and children. This handbook outlines what is involved with, and guidelines for, working with youth and children.

Youth & Family Ministry

Youth are the church of the past, present, and future.  First Lutheran has many opportunities for learning, growing in faith, having fun, and bonding with friends.  With Milestone Ministry, your children celebrate special moments along their faith journey – starting with baptism. In addition to Sunday School, your children and family can continue to grow their faith by participating in:

Baptism

 

If you are looking to have a child or adult baptized into the membership of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, please call the Church Office at 920-885-4497. A meeting with one of our pastors is required prior to baptism.

FIRST LUTHERAN NEWS

 

First Lutheran welcomed our new interim lead pastor, Rev. Joy Mortensen-Wiebe, to our staff on Monday June 5th. We are glad to have her as our pastoral leader, helping to shape our ministry in preparation for a newly-called lead pastor in 2018. Welcome, Pastor Joy!

Our Confirmation youth recently attended Pine Lake Confirmation Camp in Waupaca. They were accompanied by Vicar Tim Knipfer. Everyone had a great time! Here are some pictures from their trip:

Some of our members recently took a trip to Germany for a Reformation tour. This is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, so this is a special time to visit the places where Luther walked! Here are a few photos from their trip:
